Desktop \"Vision Board\"

I begin with "what task does this program solve?".

Many self-imporvement programs suggest the use of a "vision board". A vision board is typically a bulletin board that you put pictures on of the things you want to achieve - a way of creating a visual representation of your goals.

I spend a lot of time in front of my computer. with the web i have abundant access to tons of images that represent my personal goals. i download the images that represent my goals, store them in one folder on my hard drive, point desktop randomizer to that folder and Presto! my windows desktop is now a slideshow, regularly reinforcing the images of my goals. I like it.

Critique: the program is a little rough in spots.

* I add new files to the directory where I store the images, but it seems like the randomizer needs to be stopped and restarted to start displaying the newly added files. (hard to say for sure though because it is a "randomizer".)
* even though i have the config set to centre the images rather than stretch them, it seems that some small images are getting stretched anyway. seems to be a factor of vertical dimension of the image file.
* the "refresh now" command doesn't always refresh now.

suggestion - the smallest interval of time for an imgae to display is 1 minute. for some uses it might be more functional to have more control - that is to be able to set the display time to 10 or 15 or 30 seconds.

overall, just what the doctor ordered for my purposes. the shortcomings are minor. i will be buying a licence.
